Mindful Mamas
A 5-week course of pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing, and bonding with fellow mamas-to-be!!
What is Mindful Mamas?
In this 90 minute class, we start with a pregnancy stretch and yoga style routine which is designed to target the body's physical adaptations to pregnancy. I will guide you through this routine whilst delivering knowledge on how this will help your body and prepare you for birth.
The next part will be a chance for you to connect with your growing baby and relax as I take you through a guided hypnobirthing relaxation, and you can practice your hypnobirthing breathing techniques. This is a great opportunity to build in some good weekly hypnobirthing practice with no distractions, to allow you to reframe your mindset around birth, and prepare for a positive birth experience, whatever that looks like for you.
The last segment of this session will be a chance for you to connect with other mamas-to-be, bond over prams and nursery ideas, moan collectively about the non-glamorous side of pregnancy, and relax with a calming cuppa and biscuits (because every mama needs biscuits!)
You will be able to ask questions from an experienced NHS Midwife, Hypnobirthing practitioner, and Mama of two! I can provide a wealth of information for pregnancy, birth, and the sleep deprived fourth trimester!!

Meet the Midwife
Lauren Burke
I am a qualified NHS Midwife, Hypnobirthing practitioner, accredited Rewind practitioner, and a Mama of two. I am so super passionate about women feeling confident and informed going into their birth, that they have everything they need for an empowered and positive birth experience. I am also invested in education around the postpartum period. Nobody speaks about the raw realities of motherhood - we need to normalise that!
